Guests around a campfire under a sky full of stars at Lappi Farm

Experiences

Relax, explore, or get hands-on

Some days you'll want nothing more than the sauna and the river. Others, there's a whole region to explore. Here's what's on the farm, and our favourite spots nearby.

On the farm

Right outside your cabin

Farmyard feeding sessions

Get up close and personal with our farmyard crew: alpacas, camels, donkeys, pigs, goats and more. It's the perfect chance to get hands-on, take some great photos and learn about the animals that call Lappi home.

The riverside wood-fired sauna at sunset

Wood-fired sauna

Nothing is more Finnish than a sauna. Ours sits on the riverbank and is fired by wood the traditional way. Warm right through, then follow it with a dip in the Snowy River, if you're game.

How to book: ask us when you book or during your stay.

Trails & wild swimming

We'll let you in on our secret swimming spots, and the best times and places to see wombats and platypus. Pack a picnic and find a corner of the world all to yourself. After rain, ask us where to find the waterfall.

How to book: no booking needed. Just ask us for tips.

Wildlife spotting

Nature comes to you here. Wombats wander out at dusk, platypus work the river, kingfishers hunt from the river gums, and after dark the possums come out to play.
