Lappi Farm is an immersive, pet-friendly farmstay with cosy cabins and campsites, secluded amidst the breathtaking landscape of the Snowy Mountains. Just 2 hours from Canberra and 5 from Sydney, it's the perfect escape. Spend your nights by the campfire under a blanket of stars, and your days exploring the crystal-clear waters of the Snowy River that flows through the property. Spot platypus and wombats, meet friendly farm animals, and unwind with the restorative benefits of a traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna.
Built in the 1980s by a Finnish family, the handcrafted solid cedar log cabins are the original Scandi tiny home — a true Mökki, or Finnish summer cottage, where families go to reconnect with nature. The property was named Lappi because it reminded the family of Lapland in their home country. They positioned each cabin for privacy and uninterrupted views of the Snowy River and Monaro Plains.
Today, over 40 years later, Lappi Farm continues to offer that same authentic, off-grid feel. A place to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with the natural world.
