We strongly advise guests will need an AWD vehicle as a minimum to get to Lappi Farm
Due to demand across peak winter season and holiday periods, bookings are restricted during these times to check in and out on Friday and Sundays only, for example two night weekend, check in Friday, check out Sunday, or a 5 night week stays check in Sunday, check out Friday.
Mökki & Hytti Cabins
The freshly renovated secluded cabins bring a touch of luxe to your stay. Built from solid cedar logs using traditional Scandinavian building methods, they are nestled into the foothills of the Snowy Mountains High Country. Wake up looking out the glass doors of you own private escape over the legendary Snowy River.
The heated solid timber cabins keep you toasty warm on the coldest nights, and cool in the summer months. They are the perfect option for a romantic escape or the family holiday. Come explore the farm and meet the animals, play on the river or head up to the snow at Threbdo or Perisher. Retire at night to the campfire, a billion stars and nothing but the sound of the river flowing past.
Our 4 Mokki cabins sleep 4 and offer a queen size bed in the studio area and a bunk bed in a bedroom. The Hytti sleeps up to 6 and offers a queen size bed in the studio area, a double bed in a bedroom, and a bunk bed in a second bedroom.
Each cabin has its own kitchen and bathroom. Kitchens have a small oven with two hotplates, a 220L fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine (K-fee pod system) and a full compliment of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
Each cabin is situated about 50m from the neighbouring cabin, and the surrounding bush provides a privacy screen, it really feels like your own piece of paradise sitting out by the campfire under the stars. Firewood is provided on arrival with additional firewood for sale from reception. Please be aware that chainsaws are not allowed on the property and please respect revegetation areas by not removing timber from these sign posted areas.
Camping
We have 3 unpowered campsites along a 600m stretch of Snowy River Frontage. Each site accommodates one camper/van/tent. Vans must be offroad capable and of a maximum length of 20ft or 8m including tow hitch to be able to access the site due to a tight turn. There is water available nearby and communal facilities include a hot shower, flushing toilet, laundry and sauna. Campers are required to leave no trace and remove all rubbish when they leave.
Kennel Hire
We are pet friendly and have kennels available for day trips where you can't take your best mate such as the National Park. Kennels are available from 7am -8pm. We do have additional rules for pets to make sure you have a great stay which can be found on our FAQ page. Kennels are 2m x 3m with a small enclosed section containing a trampoline bed and automatic waterer. Your dogs can share or have their own kennels.
There is a $25 one off pet fee for pets. This gives you one free day hire of a kennel. Additional days are $20 per day. Kennel bookings can be added when making your booking.
