The directions will give you distances to travel, make sure you take some time to familiarise yourself with your cars odometer which you will be able to reset at each leg.

If you are not used to driving on country roads you may find the lack of street lighting very different. Please be aware of animals such as livestock, kangaroos and wombats on the roads and drive carefully. When driving at night it will often feel like you have driven a lot further than you actually have, so it is important to set the trip meter in you car so that you can follow the direction accurately.

We strongly advise that you require a 4WD or AWD vehicle with at least 180mm ground clearance as a minimum due to the rough roads and causeway crossing required to get to Lappi Farm. You can check with your manufacturer or vehicle manual to find your cars ground clearance.

Whilst you don’t need snow chains to access Lappi Farm, even for 4WD vehicles it is recommended to carry properly fitted snow chains when driving to the Ski Resorts between the June and October long weekends.
