Whether its chilling and taking in the view by day, star gazing by the campfire at night, a sauna session and a dip in the refreshing crystal clear water of the Snowy River, canoeing, paddleboarding, meeting our farm animals, spotting platypus, possums or wombats, or hiking to some pretty magic spots we can let you in on, there's so much to do on the farm.
Farm Yard Experiences
Reach out to us to book in a farm yard experience (only available for cabin and camping guests) from feeding, grooming or just getting up close and personal for some photos. Experiences are subject to availability and not all animals or experiences may be available for your stay.
Canoeing & Stand Up Paddleboarding
We have canoes and paddleboards available for guest use. Explore the crystal clear Snowy River, spot trout, eels and platypus, and take in the amazing views. See us at reception for use.
Wood fired Sauna
Enjoy a session in our river side wood fired sauna, and if you are keen, follow up with a dip in the river! It is complimentary for guests and from starting the fire takes around 1 hour to reach optimal temperature.
Campfires
A great way to spend an evening, enjoy time gazing at our amazing starscapes, cooking on an open flame and of course toasting marshmallows. All cabins have firewood on arrival with further firewood available for purchase from reception. Please note in summer we may from time to time have fire bans.
Bushwalks, picnics and private swimming
We can let you in on some secret spots to check out and the best time and place to spot wombats and platypus. Pack a picnic and find a corner of the world all to yourself. If there has been some rain we can even let you know where to check out our waterfall!
Fishing
Fishing is allowed in the Snowy River between the October and June long weekends. You must ensure that you have the appropriate licence. Guests at Lappi Farm agree that as a guest they will only fish in the river fronting our property and not wander onto neighbouring properties.
Weddings on the Farm
We have several amazing locations to host your special day with stunning backgrounds that will make your wedding truly unique. You and your guests can stay on farm in our cabins, and further glamping accommodation can be arranged, such as South Coast Tipis.
We have local catering, marquee, celebrant, photographer, hair, makeup and entertainment contacts who can all help to make your day perfect. We can even arrange some of our farmyard crew to be part of your special day!
Check out the farm gallery below but don't forget about what's on offer nearby too!
Dalgety Brewery just 5km down the road is a match made in heaven and we might be guilty of hitting their brunch offering a few times too many!
Kosciuszko National Park is a bit over an hour away, home of Thredbo and Perisher resorts, it is pretty amazing year round. If you bring your dog we've got you sorted with our day kennels as you can't take your best mate into the park.
Out of Bounds - if you're hitting the slopes, or anytime really, definitely give these guys a call to pick up some amazing pizzas at Berridale on your way back to the farm.
Shut the Gate wines and Little Grocer in Berridale for not only some awesome wine but a pretty cool atmosphere and if you're thinking cheese and wine by the campfire this is pretty much a non negotiable place to check out.
Buckley's Crossing Hotel - the ultimate in country pubs you'll be guaranteed a great meal, good stories and a laugh.
Tuscany In Dalgety operates for weekend lunches and is in an amazing rural setting that kind of makes you wonder what it's doing there, that question will definitely be answered as you settle into the cosy atmosphere and take in the scenery over a great meal.
